Legislation to replace the Dog Control Act 1987
New legislation for the control and management of dogs was passed by Parliament late in 2000 and will come into force during 2001. The Premier's Second Reading Speech outlines the principles of the new legislation. This legislation will be called Dog Control Act 2000.
