There is a requirement of registration for dogs of which a nominal registration fee is paid. Also, all pets brought into the Northern Mariana Islands, must undergo a 90 day quarantine procedure.Hunting Regulations : It is illegal to use dogs to hunt anything except game birds. The Director, after consultation with the Secretary, shall have the authority to direct Division staff to destroy feral animals such as: cattle, pigs, goats, deer, dogs and cats which are damaging threatened or endangered species or habitat essential for the survival of endangered and threatened species or of species of significant value for sport, recreational, subsistence, commercial or cultural purposes.
